This Privacy Policy describes how Summit Mortgage & Investment Co. and Summit Financial Network, Inc. (“Summit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information when you visit summitmortgage.net (the “Site”) or contact us through the Site. This policy applies to information collected through our website. If you apply for a mortgage loan with us, additional privacy protections and disclosures apply under federal law, and you will receive a separate Consumer Privacy Notice as required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

If you are working with a Summit loan officer, they will provide you with a secure method to submit loan documentation.

We retain information collected through the Site for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide requested services, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and our services are not available to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). Summit complies with CalOPPA. This policy identifies the categories of personally identifiable information we collect through the Site and the categories of third parties with whom it may be shared. You may review and request changes to personal information you have provided through the Site by contacting us using the information below.
“Shine the Light” (Civil Code § 1798.83). California residents may request, once per year, information about any personal information we have disclosed to third parties for those parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
